Mary Latiolais

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Mary Benoit Latiolais, 85, who passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Serving as readers will be Lorie M. Dupuis and Estelle Benoit; Gift Bearers will be her daughters, Janice LeBlanc, Becky Rodriguez, Ellen Courville, Jennifer Miller and her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Latiolais. Mary was married to her husband, James Latiolais for 62 years before his death. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, sewing and family gatherings. Mary and James owned and operated J & M Family shoe store in Breaux Bridge for 20 years. Survivors include her daughters, Janice L. (Chris M.) LeBlanc, Becky L. (Raymond) Rodriquez, Ellen L. Courville, Jennifer L. (Bill) Miller all of Breaux Bridge, her daughter-in-law, Bonnie A. Latiolais; her brothers, Felix Benoit of Las Vegas, NV and Harris Benoit of Crossville, TN; her grandchildren, Carla (Marc) Francis, Toby Rodriguez, Lourie (Guy) Dupuis, Clint (Laurie) Latiolais, Estelle (Jake) Benoit, Cheramie Courville, Mia Lacey (Guy) Reilly, Regi Courville, Nicholas (Courtney) Miller, and Andrew Miller and her great grandchildren, Madison Dupuis, Marlie Dupuis, Nathan Francis, Garrett Francis, ;Eva Francis, Josephine Rodriguez, Will Reilly, Briar Miller, Emma Latiolais, Preston Latiolais, James Benoit and Jack Benoit. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Regina Trosclair Benoit, her husband, James Latiolais; her son, Gary Latiolais; her grandson, Roddie Rodriguez: her son-in-law, Craig Courville and her brothers, Emery, Roland, Fernest, Adley, Wilfred, James Ellis, Esteve 'Steve' and Kinney Benoit; her sisters, Jeanne Guidry and Lunia Cormier. Pallbearers will be Toby Rodriguez, Clinton Latiolais, Nicholas Miller, Andrew Miller, Cheramie Courville and Carla Francis. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris LeBlanc, Raymond Rodriguez and Bill Miller. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
