Mary W. Latiolais

Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Mary W. Latiolais, 83, who passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Monday from 7:30 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. 

A Rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Monday. 

Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Amelia Claire Tankersley, William White and Ayden Berard.

Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. 

Mary was the epitome of giving, selfless and sweet. She always worried about everyone else above herself. Although Mary had no children of her own, she helped to raise many of her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She loved them dearly! Mary was an avid animal lover and loved to cook for her whole family. She was a loving and devoted wife and aunt, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roland Latiolais; nephews, Dale White (Nancy), Barry White (Joy), Burt White (Tracy), Richard White (Yolanda), Eric Guilbeau, Kenneth Guilbeau and Mark Guilbeau (Sandra); nieces, Denise Eddy (DJ), Judy Robin (Mark), Tracy Guilbeau (Harvey), Kelly Berard (Rusty) and Myra Lanclos (Teddy); niece-in-law, Phyllis White; nephew-in-law, Kearney Reynolds; and great-nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Beth, Kandi, Chance, Caleb, Ava Kate, Ayden, Chris, Kayla, Forrest, William, Jennifer, Ashley, Blake, Anna, Michael, Patrick, Emily, Angelle, Noah, Brandi, Scott, Dillion, Eric, Kim, Jeremy, Charllote, Amelia, Gabe, Olivia, Silas, Ava, Amber, Kash, Jake, Ali, Zaylie and Madden. 

She is preceded in death by her nieces, Patricia Reynolds and Deborah Hinkle; nephews, Kenneth White and Sonny White; great-nephew, Philip Lanclos; parents, Noe White and Adelia Hayes White; parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Latiolais; brothers, Curnis White, Sr. and wife, Mary and Adley White and wife, Shirley; and sister, Theresa Guilbeau and husband, Walter. 

Pallbearers will be Michael Eddy, Patrick Eddy, Forrest White, William White, Caleb Guilbeau and Noah Willis.
