Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Mary Louise Borel Williams, 72, who passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am on Tuesday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Karen Chevalier and Tara Gordon. Gift Bearers will be Daylon John and Aaliyah Ledet. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Mary enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Williams of Cecilia; four sons, Leroy Williams, Sr. of Cecilia, Curley Williams of Cecilia, Darry (Magdalena) Williams of Arnaudville, and Jack (Ocilla Rush) Williams of Cecilia; three daughters, Dianna (Everette) Williams of Cecilia, Nicole (Ricardo, Sr.) Seraile of Opelousas, and Shirley (Byron) Alexander of Cecilia; two brothers, Abel (Judy) Borel of Breaux Bridge and John Borel of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Ezola Williams of Cecilia, Eula Mae Calais of Houston, TX, and Emily Robicheaux of Cecilia; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Enola Calais Borel; her son, Larry Williams; her sister, Nola Durall; and her brother, George Borel, Jr. Pallbearers will be Brett Alexander, James Auguillard, Jr., Darry Williams, Jr., Ricardo Seraile, Jr., Jeremy Roberts, and Justin Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Antonio Seraile, Cornell Zeno, Byron Alexander, Everette Ledet, Abel Borel, Jason Goodie, and John Borel.
