Arnaudville, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Mary Elizabeth Williams, 68, who passed away unexpectedly in Arnaudville.           

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Arnaudville on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.       

Mary “Liz” was a 1971 graduate of Cecilia High School and attended Grambling State University.  After marriage, Mary relocated to south Florida, but loved visiting her birth state of Louisiana. She spent her time doing what she loved including traveling, going to the casino, playing cards (Pitty Pat) and baking bread pudding, syrup cake and her brother’s favorite Pecan cake.  She so loved visiting with her family and friends.  She will be remembered for her kindhearted spirit, her cheerful and positive demeanor, and her energetic expression of life.  Her beautiful smile that could brighten any day, will now be our guiding light. 

Mary is survived by husband, Ivery Williams; one brother Craig Taylor (Sherry); her father-in-law Izell Williams; three sisters-in law; Tren Brunson, Glenvera Williams, Sharonda Williams; two brothers-in-law; Eulle Williams and Ricky Williams and many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by parents, Stephen and Theresa Domonter Taylor her sister, Eleanor Noel and her Mother-in-law, Eunice Williams.

Pallbearers will be Demetrius Noel, Terrance Taylor, Jeremy Williams, Jerome Williams, Jermaine Lastrapes, Fabian Broussard, and Frederick Domonter.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Craig Taylor, David Batiste, Joseph Jun Noel, Connor Batiste, Joshua Mouton, Marc Ross, Patrick Domonter, Francis Jude Richard, Francis Lee Richard
