Parks - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks, for Mary M. Wiltz, 72, who passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Louis Chapel from 8:30 am until the time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 9:15 am on Tuesday. Rev. Donovan Labb will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mary enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Mary will be remembered as a soft-spoken, kind individual. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Clifford Wiltz and wife Darlene; brothers, Harold Mitchell, Jr. and wife Icy, Lionel Mitchell and wife Valerie, and Lester Mitchell and wife Unrika; sisters, Barbara Wiltz and husband Gabriel, and Ella Ledet and husband Antoine; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wallace Wiltz; parents, Harold, Sr. and Enola Narcisse Mitchell; brothers, Michael and Anthony Mitchell; and her sister, Theresa Mitchell.
