Mary A. LeGrand

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Mary A. LeGrand, 74, who passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at her residence. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Arnaudville on Wednesday from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm. 

A Rosary will be prayed at 11:30 am on Wednesday morning. 

Father Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Chassata Thomassee and Enjolie' Thomassee. Gift Bearers will be Jeanette LaGrange and Felicia LeBlanc. 

Mary was a loving soul who found joy in playing cards, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife and sister, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Steven Legrand; sisters, Cecil LaGrange and Lucy LaGrange; brothers, Leonard "Red" Guidry and Aristelle "Pa" Guidry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eliza Guidry and Ida Stelly Guidry; brothers, Olivier "Yo" Guidry, James Guidry and Alton "Nu" Guidry; and sisters, Loretta "Tit" Taylor, Verna Granger, Shirley Wiltz and Jane "Baby Jane" Laneaux.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Taylor, Harold Laneaux, Anthony Laneaux, Dylan Lasseigne, Alvin Laneaux, Jr. and Collin Cortez.
