Maureen Gravouia Devillier

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Maureen Gravouia Devillier, 84, who passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday and continue at 7:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Brad Guillory will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Amanda Devillier. Gift Bearers will be Heather Menard, Michelle Quebedeaux, and Ali Devillier. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Maureen was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church. In her spare time she enjoyed watching television, puzzle books, doing housework, and spending time with her family and friends. Maureen was always there to lend a helping hand to families in need. She especially loved and cherished many moments spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Johnny Devillier (Kristine) of Breaux Bridge three daughters, Gerri Quebedeaux (Charlie) of Breaux Bridge, Susan Devillier of Shreveport, and Tammy Devillier (fianc, David Menard) of Breaux Bridge; six grandchildren, Michelle Quebedeaux, Kenneth Coycault, Brandon Quebedeaux, Amanda Devillier, Ali Devillier, and Heather Menard; and five great grandchildren, Shania Ibarra, Sydney ORourke, Sophia Devillier, Madison Breaux, and Liya Quebedeaux. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ravis Devillier; her son, Allen Devillier, her parents, Amilcar and Coralie Melancon Gravouia; and her sister, Rosa Mae Guidry. Pallbearers will be Kurt Guidry, Horace Guidry, Brandon Quebedeaux, Kenny Coycault, Johnny Devillier, and Charlie Quebedeaux.
