Mazel Frederick Hebert

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Mazel Frederick Hebert, 78, who passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue at 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mazel was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time in her yard. She treasured times spent with her family and friends and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Hebert; her son, Danny Hebert and wife, Sandra; her daughter, Angela Cocke and husband, Barry; her brother, Ove' Frederick; two sisters, Aimee Blanchard and Verna Boutte, two grandchildren, Jonathan Cocke and Dwarren Olivier; and two great grandchildren, Braedan and Taylor Olivier. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ovey and Maria Champagne Frederick; and four sisters, Lillie Thibodeaux, Leona Guidry, Lucille Allemand, and Agnes Thibodeaux. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Cocke, Dwarren Olivier, Dean Blanchard, Cy Guidry, Shane Delahoussaye, and Kaven Delahoussaye. Honorary pallbearers will be Braedan Olivier, Alex Meche, and Ethan Meche.
