Melanie "Mel" Landry

Breaux Bridge - Melanie "Mel" Landry, age 64, was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at her residence.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm.

Mel's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She treasured every moment with them, often filling their gatherings with laughter, music, and, of course, her love for dancing to Geno. Her big heart and selfless nature meant she often put others before herself, a testament to her caring spirit. Mel will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Lance Landry and his wife, Kaci; grandsons, Chance and Cameron Landry; brother, Kelly Latiolais; sister, Lanelle Latiolais Garcia and her husband, Ruben; and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her father, Achilles "Dahling" Latiolais; mother, Jo Anne Baumery Latiolais; and the father of her son, Mark Landry.
