Melvin Francis Ditch, III

Breaux Bridge - Melvin Francis Ditch, III, 72, passed away on June 26, 2023 at his residence. 

Melvin was born on August 03, 1950 in Lafayette. He was an avid fisherman and spent many happy hours casting lines into lakes and rivers. Fishing was more than just a hobby for him; it was a way to connect with nature and find peace amidst the chaos of life. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Ditch; son, Ryan Ditch; brother, Paul Ditch; sisters, Jane Webre and Nanette Alverson; and his grandchildren, Kadix Marcantel, Adrian Ditch and Gaberiel Ditch. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Jeanette Ditch, II; brothers, Tommy Ditch and Wayne Ditch.
