Merly "Coleen" Hayes Henderson - Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Merly "Coleen" Hayes, 70, who passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am on Sunday and continue until 10:30 am on Monday. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Russell Hayes at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Chanh Nguyen will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Minnie Smith and Diedre Boudreaux. Gift Bearers will be Dawson Wiltz, Masyn Wiltz and Solange Champagne. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Coleen enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved being around people and loved to dance. She is survived by her two sisters, Mary Merline Smith and Louise Wiltz and her husband Jerry. She is preceded in death by her parents, Althmae and Solange LeBlanc Hayes and her infant twin brother and sister. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Wiltz, Jay Wiltz, Shelby Wiltz, Ricky Smith, Sr., Edward Smith, and Gerald LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers will be Dawson Wiltz, Ricky Smith, Jr., Jacques Smith, Keith Arnaud, Jr., Charlie Smith, Noah Smith, and Patrick Champagne.
