Coteau A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Mia Elizabeth DeRouen, 4, who died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Houma. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Rev. Barry Crochet will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Friday. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM Survivors include her parents, Megan Touchet and Christopher DeRouen; grandparents, Melissa Touchet of Coteau, Kenny Touchet of Coteau, Richard DeRouen and wife Liz of New Iberia, Angela Piel of New Iberia; great grandparents, Loanna Touchet of Coteau, Olan and Juanita Credeur of Scott; great aunt, Michelle Griffin and husband James Griffin, Jr. of Abbeville, uncle, Jude Touchet of Coteau, great uncle, Kim Credeur and wife Amy of Mire; great aunt, Debbie Romero and husband Steve of Coteau; great uncle, Randy Touchet and wife Maureen of Coteau; uncle, Jonathan Piel of Belle Chase; aunt, Christina DeRouen of Houma; and numerous cousins.
