Arnaudville - A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Arnaudville for Michael Kidder Jr., 50, who passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at his residence.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Arnaudville on Tuesday, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate the memorial service.

Michael Kidder Jr. was born on September 15, 1972, in Opelousas. He was a member of Theta Xi while attending UL of Lafayette.  As a pastime, he enjoyed cooking, hunting, and watching basketball and football.  Michael's favorite team was the Minnesota Vikings. He loved bringing his grandchildren snacks and spending time with them.  Michael developed a true love for hard rock music, especially Metallica.  He will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Stelly Kidder; daughter, Darian Stelly (Nicholas); grandchildren, Colt and  Karter Stelly; parents, Michael and Delores Kidder, Sr.; sister, Catherine G. Taylor (Mitch); brother, David Ross Kidder (Amanda); godchildren, Bryce Taylor and Everly Kidder; nieces, Alyce Taylor and Nora Kidder; nephew, John Ross Kidder; brother-in-law, David Stelly; and his sisters-in-law, Bonita Lee (Gary) and Pamela Arnaud.

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Mark Robin; maternal grandparents, Roy and Rena Robin; paternal grandparents, Percy and Beatrice Kidder; in-laws, Louis and Jesselyn Stelly; brother-in-law, Keith Stelly; and his sister-in-law, Carla Comeaux.
