Mike R. Sheets

Breaux Bridge- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Mike R. Sheets, 61, who passed away on June 14, 2023.

Born on January 4th, 1962 in Midland, MI, he was known for his hardworking nature and deep passion for his job.

Mike had a remarkable career as a welder and was highly respected by his colleagues. He had a remarkable work ethic and diligent attention to detail that made him stand out. Mike's dedication to his craft enabled him to produce high-quality work. His contributions to the industry that he loved will not be forgotten.

When not at work, Mike enjoyed indulging in hunting and fishing excursions. Nothing made him happier than spending time outdoors and enjoying nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved sharing his passions with loved ones. In addition to spending time outdoors, Mike also loved watching NASCAR races on TV. 

He is survived by his children, Ted Sheets, Jessica (Dakota) Randolph and Brianna Sheets; grandchildren, Oaklee Randolph and Aubree Batiste; father, Robert Sheets (Chris); brothers, Steve (Sara) Sheets and Sam (Shannon) Sheets; sisters, Sarah (Jason) Brief and Heather Sheets. 
 
He is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Pollard.
