Michael Anthony Wiltz, Sr.

Cecilia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Friday, December 20, 2013, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Michael Anthony Wiltz, Sr., 51, who passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday, and continue at 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Beatrice Wiltz. Gift Bearers will be Kwana Alexander and Beatrice Wiltz. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Michael was an avid cook who was quiet-spoken and enjoyed life. He loved spending time with his brothers and his family. He is survived by his son, Michael A. Wiltz, Jr. and his wife, Anni; two daughters, Erica W. Wilson and her husband, Shannon, and Danielle Wiltz and her significant other, Jonathan Wilson; six brothers, Joseph Wiltz, Jr., Harold Wiltz, Albert Wiltz, Kevin Wiltz, Daniel Wiltz, and Steven Wiltz; and three grandchildren, Myles Wiltz, Reid Wiltz, and Shannon Lee Wilson, III. He is preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Wiltz; and his parents, Joseph Wiltz, Sr. and Clarisse Roberts Wiltz. Pallbearers will be Jerome Wiltz, Joseph Wiltz, Jr., Harold Wiltz, Joe Williams, Kylar Wiltz, and Paul Alexander. Honorary pallbearers will be Emile Roberts and Daniel Wiltz.
