Lydia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Friday, June 20, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church for Milleson Boutte Arceneaux, 63, who passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at her residence.
Interment will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, in Patoutville.
Rev. Randy Courville will be the Celebrant.
Visitation will be on Friday, from 9:00 am until 1:15 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 11:00 am.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Arceneaux was born in Jeanerette, on September 1, 1961, to the late Alton and Florence Olivier Boutte, and was a 1979 graduate of Jeanerette Senior High School. She worked at People’s Bank, LAWCO, and most recently Noel Sleep Center. Mrs. Arceneaux lived a simple life, going camping, being outdoor, and celebrating her favorite holiday, Mardi Gras. She also enjoyed shopping, sewing and baking pies from recipes that were passed down to her by her mother.
A devout Catholic, Mrs. Arceneaux taught catechism at St. Nicholas Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Arceneaux; sons, Sean Arceneaux (Shawna Becerra), Shea Arceneaux, and Shane Arceneaux (Olivia); grandchildren, Reign Arceneaux, Reece Arceneaux, River Arceneaux, Braxton Arceneaux, Houston Arceneaux, and Harrison Arceneaux; siblings, Macain Boutte, Joseph Moreal Boutte (Wanda), and Peter Morran Boutte (Clair); godchildren, Marilyn Olivier and Aliesha Boutte.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Merlin Boutte, Sr; sister, Melinda Olivier; sister-in-law, Carolyn Boutte; and a nephew, Barry Olivier.
Pallbearers will be Sean Arceneaux, Shea Arceneaux, Shane Arceneaux, Braxton Arceneaux, Jaxon Olivier, Byron Olivier, Paul Merlin Boutte, Jr., and Chad Boutte.
Honorary pallbearers include Macain Boutte, Peter Marain Boutte, Sr., peter Marain Boutte, Jr., Moreal Boutte, Benward Olivier, Carl Arceneaux, Rickey Miniex, Jeffery Boutte, Norris Boutte, Brayden Boutte, and Gregory Olivier.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Pruiett and his staff, as well as the staff of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
