Milton Joseph Romero II

Coteau A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau, for Milton Joseph Romero II, 51 who died Monday, May 5, 2014 in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Rev. Barry Crochet will be the Celebrant. A resident of Coteau, Mr. Romero was born on May 27, 1962 and was the son of Milton Joseph and Edith Abshire Romero. He was a 1980 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, and was the owner of Romeros Lawn Care Service. Survivors include his wife Natasha Derouen Romero of Coteau; daughter, Jozlynn Benefiel and her daughter Keira of Carona, California, Zoie A. Romero of Coteau; son, Kade J. Romero of Coteau; mother Edith Romero of New Iberia; sisters, Mryna A. Romero and partner Ann Fitzgerald of New Iberia, Arlene Ransonnet of New Iberia, Christine R. Dumesnil and husband Mack of Sho Low, Arizona; brother, Lindle Romero and wife Christina of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Joseph Romero I.
