Misty "Meme" Mae Broussard

Breaux Bridge - A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 pm, on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum in Henderson, for Misty Mae "Meme" Broussard, 28, who passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm on Thursday. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Graveside Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Misty loved to ride four-wheelers, being outdoors, hunting, race cars, hanging out with friends, keeping up with social media and shopping. She enjoyed meeting new people, spending time at the beach and visiting Arkansas. Misty had a huge heart and never met a stranger. Her children were her entire world and she loved them with every fiber of her being. Misty loved her second family at Day's Inn, Kiran and Shila, and the entire Patel family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother, Laura Ray and fianc Darren Champagne; father, Troy Broussard; children, Kylie, Kaden and Khole Broussard; brothers, Scotty Broussard, Cody Broussard; maternal grandfather, Louis Ray, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Shirley Broussard; uncles, Louis Ray, Jr. and wife Christine, Richie Broussard, and Terry Broussard and wife Susan; aunts, Lisa Brasseaux and husband Kipp, Amanda Guidry and husband Kirk, and Chanin Broussard; cousins, Kristy, Tyler, Lacey, Laney, Kaitlyn, Frances, Jean Paul, Jacques, Jana, Brittany and Devin. She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Elaine Ray; and paternal grandfather, Richard Broussard. Pallbearers will be Cody and Scotty Broussard, Kirk Guidry, Kipp Brasseaux, Tyler Johnson, and B.J. Menard.
