Neldine Tauzin

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at St. Bernard Catholic Church honoring the life of Neldine Tauzin, age 78, who passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm.

A Rosary will be prayed at 11:00 am on Tuesday.

Father Reed Bellingham will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Kristin Tauzin and Kruz-Wade Tauzin. Gift bearers will be Yolanda Degataire, Morgan Tauzin and Sherry Landry.

Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Neldine Marie Tauzin was a beloved wife of 59 years, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born and raised in Cecilia where her roots ran deep and her spirit flourished.

For over 20 years, Neldine nurtured children as a dedicated babysitter, offering extraordinary love and care. Throughout her life, she embraced the joys of traveling and digging into her family's genealogy, passions that enriched her soul.

Neldine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Tauzin, Jr.; sons, Chris Tauzin (Melinda), Kyle Tauzin (Danette) and Cody Tauzin (Kristin); grandchildren, Hunter Tauzin, Kruz-Wade Tauzin, Morgan Tauzin and Carter Tauzin; and great-granddaughter, Caroline Tauzin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Addie Angelle and Mary Touchet Angelle.

Pallbearers will be Chris Tauzin, Kyle Tauzin, Cody Tauzin, Hunter Tauzin, Kruz-Wade Tauzin and Kevin Broussard.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Carter Tauzin and Brody LeBlanc.
