St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Parks for Nell Granger, 103, who passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 7:30 am until 9:30 am on Tuesday.

A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am on Tuesday. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.

Nell was born December 22, 1917 in St. Martinville. She worked as a Postmaster with the United States Postal Service for many years. She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved her family dearly and cherished her time spent with them. Nell will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Nell Stephens (John), Russel Mouton II (Cyndi), Bentley G. Mouton (Tammy), Andy Angelle (Tracey), Scott Angelle (Brandi), Lon Angelle (Jennifer), and Ron Angelle (Jana); 16 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Orter and Laurence Judice Dugas; First Husband, Bentley Solari; 2nd husband, Percy Granger; daughters, Sandi Angelle (Glenn) and Geraldine Mouton (Russel); siblings, June LeCamus and Godfrey Dugas; stepchildren, Elaine Angelle, Jeanette Boutte and Carroll Granger; and step son in-law, Clarence Angelle.

Pallbearers will be Andy Angelle, Scott Angelle, Lon Angelle, and Ron Angelle.

Angy, Scott, Lon & Ron, didn't know your grandmother, but loved your Mom & Dad. All of you and your families have Mr Les & I's deepest SYMPATHY. WOW, what longevity , almost 105 years old. What great memories and she will join your Mom, they will be smiling down on y'all. MAY MS NELL REST IN PEACE
