Nettie Weber

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, March 4, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Nettie Kay Weber, 53, who passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Father Michael Delcambre will officiate at the funeral service. Nettie was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed working in her yard. Nettie was also a great cook and loved every opportunity she had to prepare meals for her family to get together and enjoy - cherishing every moment she could spend with them. She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and a trusting friend to all who knew and loved her dearly. Survivors include her father, Leroy 'Pete' Stewart, and his wife, Eva, of Glenmora; her husband of 35 years, Camile Earl Weber, Jr. of Nina; her son, Camile Earl 'Sonny' Weber, III and his wife, Yoko, of Nina; her daughter, Meagan Weber Andrepont and her husband, Jude, of Cecilia; two brothers, David Stewart and his wife, Debbie, of Lake Charles, and Danny Stewart and his wife, Dadra, of Breaux Bridge; her sister, Lori Chelette and her husband, Robert, of Gonzales; seven grandchildren, Beau and Victoria Weber, Carsyn Brazell, Ashton, Logan, Ian, and Ethan Andrepont; and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mervel Lee Stewart; and her brothers, Michael and Christopher Stewart. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 8 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Cody Chelette, Jude Andrepont, Alan Bigelow, Robert Chelette, David Stewart, and Danny Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, Beau Weber, Ashton Andrepont, Ian Andrepont, and Ethan Andrepont. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
