New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, on Thursrday, April 30, 2009, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Olga Pinkie Prevost, 86, who passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009 in New Iberia. ; Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery. ; Msgr. Richard Greene will be the Celebrant. ; A loving mother and grandmother, Pinkie enjoyed traveling, cooking and entertaining. ; Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Travasos and husband Bob of New Iberia; her grandson, John Dru J T Travasos and wife Jennifer of Texas; her great-granddaughter, Chelsie Travasos of New Iberia. ; She was preceded in death by her husband, George Prevost; her parents, Leodias and Clothilde Hebert; her brothers, Howard, L J and Earl Hebert; her granddaughter, Yvette Travasos. ; Pallbearers will be Bob Travasos, John Dru J T Travasos, David Hoover, Blaine Hoover, John Kidder and Brock Kidder. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM.
