Parks - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Pamela Judy Roy DeBlanc, 70, who passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday evening.
Her son, Rev. Michael DeBlanc, II will officiate the Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Pam was born on July 29, 1956, in St. Martinville, Louisiana, to Maurice "Bud" Roy and the late Marian "Mary Ann" Huval Roy.
Pam was a dedicated wife and mother. She always provided love, devotion, and support for her family. A devout Catholic, Pam was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed planting and attending to the flowers and plants in her yard. Pam was very well known for abundantly decorating her front yard for each holiday season, to the delight of passersby. Her favorite past times were visiting friends, watching classic TV shows, and thoroughly enjoying drinking coffee with family and friends.
Pam was a member of Court St. Gregory #2490 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Amanda; son, Reverend Father Michael, II; son, Blake; father, Maurice "Bud" Roy; sisters, Charlotte Roy, Phyllis Roy, Kathryn (Mark) Thibodeaux, Donna (Craig) Latiolais, and Roxanne Roy; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marian Huval Roy.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the many, many doctors, nurses, CNA's, and staff of Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, and Ochsner St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge for their outstanding care.
