New Iberia Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in New Iberia for Patricia G. Breaux, 64, who passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette. Rev. Scott Bullock will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Breaux was born on March 26, 1949 and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She retired from E.P. Breaux Electrical after 25 years of service, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Iberia. Survivors include her husband, Earl L. Breaux, Jr. of New Iberia; father, Antoine Lennis Guidry of New Iberia; children, Shane Derouen and wife Mary of Lydia, Chad Derouen and wife Lita of New Iberia, Shawne Frederick and husband Michael, Tonya DeRouen and husband Kerney of Lydia; brothers, Vanice Boo Guidry and wife Helen of New Iberia, Doug Guidry and wife Amy of New Iberia; sister, Geraldine Gee Romero and husband Terry of New Iberia; 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Duhon Guidry; and a brother, Antoine Lennis Guidry, Jr. Pallbearers will be Shane Derouen, Chad Derouen, James Derouen, Dexter Derouen, Bob Derouen, Vanice Boo Guidry, and Kerney DeRouen.
