Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Patrick Deguyter, 82, who passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 am on Tuesday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Hilda Degetaire. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Deguyter enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his nephews, Ronald (Sharon) Broussard of Texas, Steven (Hilda) Degetaire of Jeanerette, and Tracey Broussard of Houston, TX; and two nieces, Ruby Degetaire of Jeanerette, and Claire (William) Dunlap of Tampa, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, Angelbert and Emma Patin Deguyter; his brother, Honore Degetaire; and his sister, Enola Broussard.
