New Iberia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026, for Patrick Craig LeBlanc, 82, who passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant.
Entombment will follow in the church cemetery, with military honors by the Iberia Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia on Thursday from 9:00 am until 1:15 pm.
A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 11:00 am on Thursday.
Patrick Craig LeBlanc was born on August 19, 1944, in Delcambre, Louisiana to John D. LeBlanc, Sr. and Ada Claire Landry LeBlanc. He was a devout Catholic and a member of Nativity of our Lady Church. He found strength and comfort in his faith throughout his life.
Pat was a graduate of Delcambre High School, Northwestern State University, and the University of Mississippi. He went on to serve in the Army National Guard and worked as a teacher, coach, and principal for the Iberia Parish school system. The staff and faculty of North Street Elementary were very dear to him. Upon retirement, he was employed through the District Attorney’s office truancy program (TASC).
Pat was devoted to his family, and above all else, treasured time spent with them.
Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margo Butler LeBlanc; son, Brett LeBlanc; daughters, Ashley LeBlanc Meaux and husband Bruce, and Patrice LeBlanc; grandchildren, Logan, Olivia, Mallory, Caroline, Garrett, Amelie; great granddaughter, Ella Catherine; sister, Phyllis LeBlanc Ledet; and sisters-in-law, Cynthia LeBlanc and Jessica Butler.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, John and Claire LeBlanc; and his brother John Dennis LeBlanc Jr.
