Breaux Bridge - Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Patrick Joseph Melancon, 55, who passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Lafayette General. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 am. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 am on Saturday. Deacon Marcel Butch Hebert will conduct the services. Survivors include his son, Nicholas Melancon of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Jessica Sattler of Eunice and Amy Guidry of Catahoula; three brothers, James Jacques and Melvin Jacques both of Lafayette and Jack Lopez of Milton; and his half-sister, Charlene Melancon of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Melancon; his parents, Roy and Josephine Credeur Melancon; and his brother, Freddie Melancon.
