Paul Jude Bijeaux

Catahoula - Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, January 24, 2014, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Paul Jude Bijeaux, 33, who passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 3:30 pm on Thursday and continue until 10:30 am on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Richard Fabre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Megan B. Louviere and Maudrey B. Durand. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, sitting around a campfire and cooking while camping with his kids. He also enjoyed watching boxing and football. He is survived by three sons, Blake Bijeaux of Maurice, Trey Bijeaux of Parks, and Ryan Bijeaux of Loreauville; his daughter, Teryn Bijeaux of Parks; his parents, Lennett P. and Doris Hebert Bijeaux of Catahoula; his sister, Nichole Bijeaux Montet of Catahoula; his maternal grandmother, Lorena Oliva; paternal grandmother, Louella Bijeaux; his nephew, Austen Montet; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Bootsie Bijeaux; maternal grandfather, Abel Hebert; maternal step grandfather, Elise Oliva; and his cousin, Lee Paul Toucheck. Pallbearers will be Ronald Bijeaux, Burt Bijeaux, Logan Dugas, Luke Dugas, Brad Louviere, and Buck Wiltz.
