Coteau Holmes - A Graveside Service will be held at on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church Cemetery in Coteau Holmes for Paul John Rebert, Sr., 60, who passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Iberia Medical Center.

Elmo Rebert will officiate the Graveside service.

Paul was born on August 18, 1965, in Franklin. Paul John Rebert, Sr., passed away surrounded by those who loved him most. Known for his big heart, quick wit, and unforgettable stories, Paul lived life with a spirit as full and vibrant as the Louisiana bayous he loved so much.

He found joy in the simple things - early mornings spent hunting, crawfishing in his ponds, and long phone calls filled with laughter and gossip. He would post on peoples' Facebook posts, "MPNR - My Phone Never Rang," when he would see they were up to something.

A devoted family man, Paul treasured every moment spent with his loved ones. Whether it was sitting around the table or sharing music from K-BON in the background, he made everyone feel at home. His presence brought warmth, humor, and light to all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered - for his kindness, his laughter, and the countless memories that will live on through his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Catherine Denise Rebert; mother, Leona Rebert; son, Paul John Rebert, Jr.; daughters, Hailey Poirier (Dwayne), Nico Hebert (Myles) and Talyn Rebert; brothers, Elmo Rebert, Sr., Steve Rebert, Jr., Daniel Rebert and Kirt Rebert; sister, Shelia Gardner; grandchildren, Tristyn Rebert (Noah), Reece Poirier, Kodi Cormier, Hayden Hebert, Liam Rebert, Drew Hebert, Andee Poirier, Alix Rebert and Hayes Rebert; and his great-grandchild, Sutton Gravois.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steve Rebert, Sr; son, Coty Michael Rebert; grandson, Keiland Paul Rebert; sister, Lori Albert; godchild, Jeremey "Popcorn" Rebert; and his nephews, Kirt "TK" Rebert, Jr. and Derick Barras.
