Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 23, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Paul Sylvester, 86, who died Friday, April 15, 2005 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include his wife, Lovenia J. Sylvester of Breaux Bridge; eight sons, Clifton Sylvester of Breaux Bridge, Ernest Sylvester of St. Martinville, Joseph Sylvester of Beaumont, TX, Gerald Sylvester of Port Arthur, TX, Lee Boy Sylvester of Breaux Bridge, Jerry Sylvester of Breaux Bridge, Wilbert Sylvester of Beaumont, TX and Wilton Sylvester of Port Arthur, TX; two daughters, Shirley Sylvester and Mary Ann Barras, both of Breaux Bridge; 61 grandchildren; 102 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelle and Sedonia Chretien Sylvester; his son, Robert Sylvester; his daughters, Mary Lee, Joyce and Sedonia Sylvester; his brothers, Vincent, Benson, Leo, Ceo, Marcelle, Choot, and Joseph Sylvester. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4 PM - 10 PM on Friday and continue at 7 AM on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
