Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 4, 2026 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Paula Anne Bonin, 70, who passed away on August 31, 2026.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Thursday from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until service time.

Pastor James Craft will officiate at the funeral service.

Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Paula was a vibrant spirit whose love for life resonated deeply with all who knew her. She will be remembered for her passion for dancing to Zydeco music, her delightful cooking, and the cherished moments spent crabbing and visiting the beach.

She is survived by her children, Christy Boggs, Will Boggs (Samantha Sullivan) and Misty Punch; mother, Vernice Bonin; siblings, Earl Bonin, Sr. (Gale), Darlene Baker (Richard), Ellen Calvit (Neal) and Kellie Douet (Dean); grandchildren, Gavyn Page, Caden Lasseigne, Myka Page, Alyssa Dore, Justin Punch, Bailey Punch, Colton Punch, Aliyah Punch, Sawyer Punch and Adi Pellerin; great grandchildren, Skye Warren and Dean Coco; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, St. Paul Bonin; son-in-law, Joshua Punch; maternal grandparents, Ulysses and Marthasie Hebert; and paternal grandparents, Johnny and Eunice Bonin.

Pallbearers will be Will Boggs, Caden Lasseigne, Gavyn Page, Earl Bonin, Jr., Caleb Bonin and Bo Bonin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Baker, Dean Douet, Neal Calvit and Colby Bourque.
