New Iberia Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia, for Peggy Ann Bodin, 53, who died Sunday, December 1, 2013 in Lafayette. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Mark Derise will officiate. Peggy was born on January 8, 1960 in New Iberia, and worked for the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, being outdoors, painting, helping others, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her mother, Doneilieen Gee Bodin of Jeanerette; her companion, Brent Perry of Lafayette; sisters, Cynthia Bodin, Jolyn B. Fleming and husband Buddy, and Karen B. Landry all of New Iberia; brothers, Al Bodin and companion Keiko Landry of Broussard, Danny Bodin of New Iberia; niece, Emily Bodin of New York; nephews, Joey Fleming of Baton Rouge, Nicholas Fleming of Lafayette, Cody Landry of New Iberia, and Jacob Landry of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Bodin, Sr., and a nephew, Christopher Bodin.
