A private gathering will be held October 4, 2026, for Peggy Jane Holmes, 76, who passed away on January 18, 2026 at The Carpenter House.

She is survived by her son, James Warren; sister, Jane Burgess; brother, Alan Ray Harkreader; grandchildren, Ariana Warren and Larkin Warren; stepchildren, Raymond "Buddy" Courville, Sr., and Shannon Wilkinson; and other survivors of her beloved late companion, Raymond Courville are Dennis (Cypriana) Courville, James (Cindy) Courville, Sr., Brannon (Lou) Courville, Deanna (Carroll) Broussard, Brenda Thibodeaux; five step grandchildren and 12 step-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Harkreader; sisters, Linda Lowe and Janet "Pee Wee" Stroud; brother, Alan Harkreader; and her companion, Raymond Courville of 30 years.
