Peggy T. Knott "Tiki"

Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Peggy T. Knott "Tiki," 64, who passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm on Thursday. Pastor Glenn Ducharme will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia at a later date. Peggy, known to many as, "Tiki," was born August 12, 1956. She was employed with Martin Mills for over 20 years. Peggy was an exceptional seamstress and could create or alter anything. In her spare time, she enjoyed landscaping and working in her yard, going to the camp, crabbing and fishing with friends, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchild, Sebastian. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Aaron N. Knott (Sharon Delahoussaye); grandchild, Sebastian Paul Knott; brother, Shane Theriot (Monica); sister, Pamela Prejean (Steven); and her godchild, Shannon Theriot. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis "Bouye" and Melba Rose Quebedeaux Theriot; maternal grandparents, Romo and Rosa Quebedeaux; paternal grandparents, Arile and Armance Theriot; and godchild, Jeremy Cy Prejean "Bugsy". Pallbearers will be Aaron N. Knott, Shane Theriot, Shannon Theriot, Steven Prejean, Hunter Theriot, and Corey Courville. Honorary pallbearers will be Sebastian Paul Knott, Joshua Prejean and Damian Courville. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Mary Landry Knott and Alaina Hebert Champagne, and the staff with Hospice of Acadiana for the special care given to Peggy. Also, many thanks and much appreciation to all of our family and friends for bringing by food, flowers, visiting, and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
