Perry James Granger

St. Martinville- A graveside service will be held at a later date for Perry James Granger, 69, who passed away on October 24, 2026 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

Born on January 1, 1957, in Lafayette, Perry was the youngest of six children. Throughout his life, he worked in the kitchen at Martin Mills and as a galley hand in the oil field. He was also a past member of the Knights of Columbus.

Perry enjoyed staying busy and was always on the go. You never quite knew where you might find him or what he would be up to next. He loved to visit and talk with his family and friends, whether it was in person or on the phone. He simply enjoyed being out and about and taking each day as it came.

He is survived by his siblings, Jerry Granger, Curtis Granger, Betty Albert, Donald Granger and Carol Touchet (Cliven); and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Maria Bernis Granger.
