Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Phillip Paul Guidry, 46, who passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 am until 9 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 7 am until 10:30 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Paul LaFleur will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Phillip loved being outdoors he enjoyed working, fishing, hunting, playing pool and he especially loved riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a caregiver to his father, John Harry Guidry, Sr.
Phillip was once the owner of The Prop Shop and was well-known for all his good works and people admired him for what he could do for them.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Guidry; two sons, Giles Guidry and Michael Guidry and wife, Ashley; his father, John Harry Guidry, Sr.; his brother, John Harry "Peanut" Guidry, Jr.; and his two step daughters, Michelle Hebert and Heidi Hebert.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Guidry; his brother, Jerome Guidry; and his mother-in-law, Rena D. Guidry.
Pallbearers will be Michael Guidry, John Harry Peanut Guidry, Jr., Giles Guidry, Cade Doega, Dustin Dauzat, and Jackie Landry.
