Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 20, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Phyllis Dor Theriot, 59, who passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Dor will conduct the funeral service. The reader will be Shirley Babb and Candy Rees will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Phyllis was known to be a hardworker, having worked for many years with Drs. Ernest and Marelle Yongue before going to work at the U.L. - Lafayette Medical Clinic as a Nurse Assistant, II. In her free time she would often work at Bayou Boudin Cracklins and Bayou Cabins. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend - a caregiver to anyone in need of her help. Phyllis was very close to her grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and the many acquaintances she had met in her life. Survivors include her son, Kyle David Theriot and his wife, Jillian Marie Lindsey Theriot, of Pearland , TX ; one daughter, Rachel Rene Theriot, of Breaux Bridge ; two brothers, Danny Dale Dor and his wife, Dolores LaGrange Dor , of St. Martinville, and Ricky Ames Dor and his wife, Angie Guillot Dor , of Lafayette; two sisters, Julie Ann Dor Angelle and her husband, Tommy, of Katy, TX, and Ethel Lee Dor of Breaux Bridge; and five grandchildren, Gage Michael Boutin, Kelsea Rae Boutin, Jayda Rene Theriot, Ian Michael Ryan Theriot, and Amelie Lindsey Theriot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph'T-Ray' Theriot; her parents, Ames and Rena Guidry Dor; her father-in-law, Joseph Preston Theriot; and her brothers-in-law, Rodney Theriot and Harold Terrell. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and continue on Friday at 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Pallbearers will be Beau Dor, Garret Dor, Seth Dor, Danna Dor, Joel Dor, and Danny Dale Dor.
