Ramona Blanchard Soileau

St. Martinville - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville, for Ramona Blanchard Soileau , 51, who passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 1:45 pm on Saturday. Rev. David Remdioes will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum in Catahoula. Mrs. Ramona was a very creative and artistic person. She was an excellent seamstress, loved to cook and taught her loved ones to be thrifty. She loved her cat, Chloe and enjoyed listening to Keith Urbans music. She is survived by her husband, Terence Soileau; her father, Bernard Blanchard; her mother, Agnes Dupuis Blanchard; her son, Tate Stout; her sisters, Karla Blanchard Chiscari, Valerie Blanchard (Todd) McClanahan and Natalie Blanchard; her brothers, Bert (Peggy) Blanchard and Brent (Leah) Blanchard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and grand nieces. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Euphamond Dupuis and Wilda Dupuis; her paternal grandparents, Arthur Blanchard and Ann Blanchard. Pallbearers will be Natalie Blanchard, Bert Blanchard, Brent Blanchard, Johnny Zerbe, Briggs Blanchard and Keith Soileau.
