Born on February 20, 1936, in St. Martinville, Ray lived a life filled with hard work, passion, and unwavering faith.

Ray's work was not only his livelihood; it was his hobby, and he approached each task with all of his heart. His commitment to excellence earned him the respect of his peers and admiration from many young men who he mentored in the field.

Ray was an avid lover of horses and rodeoing, gaining his passion from a young age. He was a man of faith and cherished his participation in the annual Cursillo walks, traveling from Catahoula to Prairie Ronde.

Above all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
