Breaux Bridge Funeral services will be held at 10 am, on Monday, November 4, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Rena Mae Bergeron Broussard, 70, who passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:30 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue at 8:00 am until 9:30 am on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm on Sunday. Rev. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Destiny Monnin and Danielle Laviolette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Broussard was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Broussard, Sr.; her son, Raymond Broussard, Jr. and his wife, Wanda; three daughters, Donna Laviolette and her husband, Oswald, Deanna Guiberteau and her husband, Neal, and Deidre Delaune and her husband, Damon; two brothers, Alton Bergeron and Clifton Bergeron; two sisters, Renella Castille and her husband, Patrick, and Leatrice Wade and her husband, Gordon; 14 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren, and1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Ann Thibodeaux Bergeron; two sons, Gary and Joseph Broussard; and her sister, Beatrice Castille. Pallbearers will be Devin Delaune, Dorsey Broussard, Raymond Broussard, Jr., Damon Delaune, Spenser Monnin, Dylan Delaune, and Taylem Breaux.
