Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Rena Courville Dor, 89, who passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center in Breaux Bridge. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 pm until 9 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 8 am until 9:30 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Rena was a member of the Widows of the Teche, American Legion Auxiliary in Breaux Bridge, Woodman of the World, Home Demonstration Club and the Pink Ladies of St. Martin Hospital. She enjoyed playing Boure and visiting with family and friends. Survivors include her daughters, Linda LaJaunie and her husband, Harold of Breaux Bridge, Audrey D. Serrette of Breaux Bridge, Patricia Buford of Mandeville and Evelyn D. Prejean and her husband, Chuck of Sulphur; her sister-in-law, Flo Courville of Lafayette; her brother-in-laws, Sylvan Dore, Jr. of Parks and Harry Girouard of Beaumont, TX; nine grandchildren, Kevin LaJaunie, Julie LaJaunie, Paul LaJaunie, Deidre Donovan, Ryan Serrette, Matthew Buford, Joshua Buford, Samantha Bartlett, and Amanda Prejean; and her great granddaughter, Whitney Donovan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rene and Aurelie LeBlanc Courville; husband, Whitney Dor; her brothers, Valsin, Robert, Preston, Isaac, and Alfred Courville; her sisters, Solange Landry, Edith LeBlanc, Loula Dor, Viola Melancon, Joyce Girouard, Ada Huval and her great granddaughter, Bailey Donovan. Pallbearers will be Ryan Serrette, Clayton Donovan, Kevin LaJaunie, Paul LaJaunie, Matthew and Joshua Buford. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
