Breaux Bridge- A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 08, 2025 at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Rena Ann Landry, 85, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at Magnolia Estates.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until Service Time.
A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Wednesday.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the funeral service. Readers will be Leah Duhon, Emery Brasseaux and Anna Broussard.
Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Rena, a lifelong resident of Breaux Bridge and affectionately known by her nickname "Ba Do" lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family. Rena was an incredible cook, often sharing meals with family, friends and the community through a bar and grill she owned for a few years. She worked as a waitress at several local establishments, including The Vermillion, Pat's Waterfront Restaurant, Landry's Seafood, Toby's, Prejean's, and Crawfish Kitchen, where she took great pride in her work and established lasting relationships with her patrons and coworkers.
She is survived by her children, John (Danielle) Landry and Monica (Cory) Tauzin; grandchildren, Ryan (Mary) Broussard, Kyle (Nicole) Broussard, Ben (Allison) Brasseaux, Leah Duhon, Brett (Lexi) Landry, Elizabeth Landry Trahan, Cole Tauzin, Jordan Calhoun and Camdyn Hebert; great-grandchildren, Matthew Broussard, Anna Broussard, Libbie Roach, Charlie Roach, Ben Fontenot, Wesley Brasseaux, Emery Brasseaux, Kylan Touchet, Kenzleigh Touchet, Hayden Duhon and Noah Duhon; and her close friend Lydia Bergeron, who helped to care for her in her time of need.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Landry; daughters, Debbie Broussard and Peggy Brasseaux; parents, Evariste and Edmae Cormier Landry; brothers, Eric Landry, Dennis Landry and LeRoy Landry.
Pallbearers will be Scott Brasseaux, Mike Broussard, Ryan Broussard, Kyle Broussard, Ben Brasseaux and Brett Landry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Tauzin and Cole Tauzin.
In Lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana.
