Rene "Ricky" DeBlanc, III

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Rene Ricky DeBlanc, III, 77, who died on Thursday, September 19, 2013 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Survivors include his sisters, Brenda DeBlanc Toups and husband Alvin of Many, Mona DeBlanc OBrien of Moss Bluff; nephews, Kent Delcambre and wife Margaret of New Iberia, Wayne Delcambre and wife Mary of Youngsville; and longtime family friend, Lynward Oubre and wife Lynette of Broussard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rene DeBlanc, Jr. and Elmine Delcambre Theriot; wife, Joyce Johnson DeBlanc; step father, Archie Theriot; step mother, Ruth Mary Guillot DeBlanc; and a brother-in-law, Malcolm OBrien.
