Richard "Rick" DaCosta

New Iberia – Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Richard “Rick” DaCosta, 72, who passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

Interment will be at a later date.

Rev. Keith Landry will officiate.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home and will continue Monday from 8:00 am until 11:00 am.

A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed, at 6:00 pm on Sunday, at Pellerin Funeral Home.

Survivors include his children, Raven DaCosta (Patrick Crum) of New Iberia, Rene Trevizo (Mohamed “Zino” Amrani) of Erath, and Raul Trevizo of New Iberia; companion, Diana Fredricks of New Iberia; grandchildren Gabriel Trevizo, Easton Alford, Journie Hebert, Karson Trevizo, Endie DaCosta, and Justice Amrani; siblings, Allan DaCosta, Elizzabeth “Ann” Rodrigues, and Donald DaCosta; and close relatives, Shannon Toups, Debra Jeansonne, and Tina Latiolais.

Rick was preceded in death by his wife, Miki Romero DaCosta; and his parents, Donald and Maisie DaCosta.
