Ridge Belaire

New Iberia – A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Ridge Matthew Belaire, 22, who passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

 Entombment will follow in the All Saints Cemetery, in Loreauville.

 Deacon Durk Viator will officiate.

 Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Thursday, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am.

 The Rosary, will led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm, on Wednesday, at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A lifelong area resident, Ridge worked as a plumber for Pat’s Plumbing. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Ridge was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his father, Shawn Belaire, I; grandmother, Barbara LeBlanc Belaire; siblings, Shawn Belaire, II (Hali), Jacob Belaire, Trevor Morrison (Bryanna), and Austin Belaire (Kamryn); aunts and uncles, April Blanchard (Troy), Monica Broussard (Gregory), Ravis Belaire, Jr. (Tina), and Chad Belaire (Mindy); nieces and nephews, Cohen, Parker, Quinn, Leon, and Roselyn, Charlotte, Kullen, and Levi; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Christie Smith; grandfather, Ravis Belaire, Sr.; great grandparents, Harris LeBlanc, Lillian LeBlanc, Leon Belaire, and Hazel Belaire; uncle, Blaine Belaire; and cousins, Jeremy Berges, Travis Breaux, Reid Belaire, and Peyton Belaire.

Pallbearers include Shawn Belaire, II, Jacob Belaire, Trevor Morrison, Austin Belaire, Gregory Broussard, and Pat Klopfer.
