Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Robert John Broussard, 56, who passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Deacon Marcel Butch Hebert will conduct the services. Mr. Broussard enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, gardening, farming. He cherished his time he spent with his family and friends; especially his grandchildren who would put a spark in his eyes every time he saw them. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Yvonne Huval Broussard of Parks, mother, Margaret M. Rodrigues of Pasadena, TX, son, Dustin (companion, April David) Broussard of Breaux Bridge, daughter, Katrina (Ted) Anderson of Liberty Township, OH, brother, Rickey (Cindy) Broussard of Pasadena, TX, sister, Rose Trammel of Pasadena, TX, step brother, Ronald Duhon of Lafayette, and eight grandchildren, Taija Broussard, Shayla Broussard, Emma Broussard, Kaisa Anderson, Adriana Anderson, Teddy Anderson, Kylie David and Kadon Woods. He is preceded in death by his father, John Broussard. Pallbearers will be Dustin Broussard, John Huval, Johnny Parks, Rickey Broussard, Ronald Duhon and Anthony Huval.
