Arnaudville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville, for Robert J. Chautin, 84, who passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday. Rev. Kenneth Domingue will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great in Leonville. Robert was known as the pie man; he could make a number of pies before you could even smell the coffee. He also enjoyed listening to Cajun music, watching his family play music, dancing, cooking, playing the accordion, and raising his Rat Terriers. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him He is survived by his sons, Bobby Chautin, Kevin Chautin , Myran Chautin and wife Karen, and Kenneth Chautin and wife Jenifer; his daughter, Darlene Robin and husband Brian; his sisters, Thelma Devillier and Sadie Rivette, all of Arnaudville; his grandchildren, Brittany Chautin, Bradley Chautin, Andy Chautin, Justin Chautin, Richard Chautin, Benny Robin, Danny Robin, Katie Chautin Hebert, Kristen Chautin, Kindsey Chautin, and Leah Guilbeau; his great grandchildren, Layn Guilbeau, Landen Guilbeau, Laydin Ray, Jay-Lynn Guilbeau, Alexis Peck, Caleb Guilbeau, and Jolie Chautin; and his godchild, Sheryl Badeaux of Arnaudville. He was preceded in death by parents, Leonce and Emma Guidroz Chautin; a son, Anthony (Tony) Chautin; a granddaughter, Jamie Chautin Peck; his brother, Ervin Chautin; and his sister, Della Mae Chautin Richard. Pallbearers will be Bobby Chautin, Myran Chautin, Kenneth Chautin, Andy Chautin, Brian Robin, and Benny Robin. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Chautin, Bradley Chautin, Justin Chautin, Richard Chautin, Danny Robin, and Layn Guilbeau.
