Chris, a man whose laughter could fill a room and whose handshake could turn a stranger into a friend. Known to many as a devoted hunter, fisherman, and all-around outdoorsman. Chris found his greatest peace under open skies, whether it was in the stillness of the woods at dawn or on the water with a line cast and hope in his heart.
For much of his life, Chris worked hard cutting trees, a job that reflected both his grit and his deep connection to nature. He had a spirit that was as big as the outdoors he loved - crazy, funny, and loud in the best way. He never met a stranger, always ready with a story, joke, or a helping hand. His connection to the wild went beyond just being an outdoorsman; he possessed an almost magical ability to understand and calm animals, a gift that earned him the fond title of "animal whisperer" among those who saw it first-hand.
Chris's greatest pride was his family, friends, and above all, his children, who knew him as fiercely loyal and endlessly generous. His love was fierce, and his presence was a constant source of strength and joy.
In a life marked by both deep joy and profound loss, his son Lucas was his ultimate purpose. One of the greatest loves of his life and his deepest pride and joy, Chris cherished every moment they spent together. Whether they were in the woods, on the water, or riding four-wheelers, each moment was a treasure he held above all else. Lucas was the one person who could make Chris's wild spirit stand still, grounded by love that was pure and unconditional. Though the world feels quieter without him, Chris leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and a reminder to live life full throttle - to fish the water, walk the woods, and cherish the people who matter most.
