Roger Joseph Solari

St. Martinville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church honoring the life of Roger Solari, 84, who passed away on August 21, 2026 at Belle Teche Nursing Home.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM on Wednesday.

Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the funeral mass. Reader will be Lori LaCombe.

Burial will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum.

Roger was a proud Army Veteran. He enjoyed cooking for his family, horse racing and going to the Casino.

He is survived by his children, Thorn Solari (Keisha), Dwayne Solari and Lisa Hardy; brothers, James "Jimmy" Solari (Eileen) and Darryl Solari (Marti); sister, Catherine Rabalais; grandchildren, Noah Solari, Blaze Solari and Emeri Solari.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Solari; parents, Savie and Eve Solari; sisters, Genevieve "Jenny" Castille, Shirley Townsend and Loretta "Lute" LeCombe.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Solari, Thorn Solari, Noah Solari, Blaze Solari, Kynan Rabalais and Lonnie LaCombe.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of Belle Teche Nursing Home and Heart of Hospice .
