Roland "Brother" LeBlanc, Jr.

Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Teche Baptist Church in Breaux Bridge for Roland "Brother" LeBlanc, Jr., 51, who passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. 

A visitation will take place at Teche Baptist Church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 5:00 pm.

Pastor Reggie Williams will officiate the Memorial Service. 

Roland "Brother" LeBlanc, Jr. was a man who touched the lives of countless individuals with his unwavering faith and devotion to serving others. Born on January 14, 1972, he embodied the true essence of a devout Christian, dedicating his time and energy to ministering and spreading the word of God.

A faithful member of Teche Baptist Church, Roland found solace in the fellowship and love shared within its walls. It was there that he discovered his calling to bring others closer to their faith. His passion for sharing the teachings of God led him to purchase Bibles for anyone who sought to hear His word, ensuring that no one was left without spiritual guidance.

However, Roland's impact extended far beyond the realm of spirituality. He served as a former fire chief in Henderson. He also had passions that he loved - riding motorcycles and carpentry work. But above all, Roland's heart belonged firmly with his family. Time spent with his grandchildren brought immeasurable joy to his life.

His gentle spirit and unwavering faith will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Courville LeBlanc; father, Roland LeBlanc, Sr.; daughters, Megan LeBlanc (Trent) and Madison LeBlanc (Seth); sons, Logan LeBlanc (Olivia) and Cameron LeBlanc (Rylie); grandchildren, Ayden, Elise, Adrian, Isabel, Ashton, Ivy and Jaxtyn; sisters, Kelly Bodoin (Casey) and Sandra LeBlanc; mother-in-law, Verline Courville; brothers-in-law, Terry Courville (Susan) and Dale Courville (Tonya); uncle, Larry Pigott; aunts, Margaret Duplechien and Janelle Huval (Gene); and his fur baby, Cuddles.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dollie LeBlanc; father-in-law, Roy Courville; maternal grandparents, Payton and Gert Osborne; paternal grandparents, Holden and Isabel LeBlanc; aunts, Florence Duplechien and Sharen Edwards; and cousins, Denise Huval and Justin Duplechien.
